Pinterest has become the go-to search site when looking for a little inspiration or a quick how-to for recipe and project ideas. Because organic posts live on the platform forever, Starbucks could be the definitive go-to resource for all things coffee related.

The Process

The team of on-site makers, writers, and designers created hundreds of unique pins ranging from food pairing recommendations, home decorating ideas, coffee inspiration moments, coffee educational content, and even a few cocktail recipes.

To jump-start the pinning, we partnered with Pinterest to create a one-of-a-kind Coffee Board Generator. By choosing 3 coffee moment preferences, one of 40 custom boards were generated for thousands of users adding over 300,000 new Starbucks Pins to users accounts in 2017 alone.
